I saw the Steam sale and I could get all game and DLC for like $20. Anybody here play? Whats it like and is it worth it?

I play! It’s worth it. I honestly hook up my wheel and pedals, take assignments, and just cruise about. It is fun, and there is a huge modification community online.

It’s pretty fun. If you’re not sure and the sale goes on for a while you can download the demo and give it a go for a few days. I have to say, I am addicted...your mod list will grow very large very quickly, and it’s engrossingly calming after a long week...can be graphics intensive however, but it does run albeit at lower quality on basically any computer.
Here’s some of my screenshots from the game a few months ago: http://oppositelock.kinja.com/been-playing-e…
I run the game on medium settings and I only have a very simple Dell Inspiron with Intel HD Graphics, so yours may or may not vary...

I bought it (minus all the DLC) sometime when it was on sale. It’s certainly not a truly immersive world (very scaled down), but was significantly more fun and less boring than I was expecting.
Though it did take me like half an hour to back my truck up to the loading dock in the tutorial. Also I got a ticket for turning right on red, which was lame.
Regardless, I can say it was way more fun than Train Simulator as far as weird potentially boring games go. Probably wouldn’t pay $20 for it though.

Yeah, around Christmas it drops to around $5-8 or so...

I paid way too much money back in 2012 for the game. Bout to go play me some. Therapeutic man.

Never played a truck driving game before and I really liked this. Although I got bored once during a trip and jack-knifed in a tunnel. Yeah.
